In today’s episode, I interview Morgan and Courtney King, the Cofounders of Orchyd. Orchyd is a period care company that provides inclusive and sustainable support to women and everyone who has a period by reshaping the way we look at menstrual care. They have a period tracking app with on-demand telemedicine and a Bluetooth enabled purse that holds your menstrual products and reminds you when to bring them along with you so you don't find yourself bleeding without being prepared. Morgan King - Co-Founder and Product Manager
At Orchyd, Morgan is responsible for product research, trend reporting, and is the primary contact on day-to-day operations with suppliers and vendors. Morgan’s experience in the fashion industry has been utilized in many unique design elements of Orchyd’s brand identity. Morgan’s creativity has also been harnessed to create a unique tampon design that is 100 percent sustainable, which the team has dubbed “the perfect tampon.”

Courtney King - Co-Founder and Head of Content
Courtney is primarily responsible for Orcyhd’s content development including messaging, blogging, website and social media copy, and more. Courtney’s passion for humanitarian issues and social justice is the driving force behind Orchyd’s mission to ensure inclusivity, accessibility, and transparency in period care. Courtney uses Orchyd content to educate and inform on menstrual equity, period poverty, and encourage fair and equal access to period care products.
